About Us

Located in central Pennsylvania, Beeghley Tech Innovations and is owned and operated by Dr. James Beeghley. Beeghley Tech Innovations was originally founded to help support local schools with their educational technology.  The company has since grown to support small business and churches with their website, social media and technology needs.  In 2005, we began designing professional websites for individuals, non-profit organizations and small businesses.  In the past several years, our company has expanded to offer additional services such as web hosting, search engine optimization and social media branding.

About the Owner – James R. Beeghley, Ed.D.

Jim is an educational technologist, a blogger, podcaster and expert in using technology to teach history with a particular interest in the American Civil War.  He has spent eleven years as a technology coordinator, five years supporting educational technology for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,  worked as an instructional technologist in higher education and have been an adjunct professor since 2005.

He is the author of the Teaching the Civil War with Technology.  He frequently give keynotes, presentations, and leads workshops on numerous topics including digital citizenship, cyberbullying, educational technology, social media and most especially uses of technology to teach social studies.

On a personal note, he resides in Harrisburg, Pa with his wife Kim and their four children.
